The film series “Stars Wars” presents us with a classic battle of good versus evil in the story of the Jedis against the Empire. For the uninitiated, the Jedis were the resistance against the evil forces of the Empire, with access to power that helped them in their fight. The fight against the darkness is common not only in pop culture, but it is clearly seen in the Word of God and in our world today. Through James’ & Peter’s letters to the church, we learn about the importance of submission and the conviction of the Holy Spirit in our fight against the darkness.
